Shining Stars classes are for girls that are in 5 (in kindergarten) or 6 years old. During each class, the girls will focus on one of the four Olympic events, namely vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. This 50 minute class will teach basic gymnastics positions, tumbling skills, and continue to enhance the child’s flexibility, coordination, and strength. Students will receive a skill tracking sheet to monitor their progress.
Fun gymnastics skills taught in our Shining Stars class include:
- Handstands
- Pullover on bars
- Straight jump on beam
- Cartwheels
