Advanced Beginner Girls

Advanced Beginner Girls classes are for girls that are 7 years and older. This class will build upon the skills mastered in the Beginner Girls class and is offered as a 50 minute class or 1.5 hour class (Advanced Beginner Girls Accelerated). The gymnasts will continue to work on the four Olympic events as well as trampoline. Gymnasts in this class are eligible to join our competition class as well – Xcel Prep. Students will receive a skill tracking sheet to monitor their progress.
Fun gymnastics skills taught in our Advanced Beginner Girls class include:
- Handstand Vault
- Back Hip Circle
- Cartwheel Dismount on beam
- Back kickover
